BON JOVI CONCERTS LONDON O2
Bon Jovi have announced they will play a residency at London's 02 arena starting in June 2010. Bon Jovi have confirmed they are to play a residency at London's 02 arena next year. The band - Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, David Bryan and Tico Torres - will kick off the run of shows in June 2010 as part of their 'The Circle Tour' which begins in the spring. Although it is not yet known how many concerts the Bon Jovi will play it is believed the residency could rival Prince's mammoth 21-night stay in 2007. Speaking on behalf of promoters AEG Live, Rob Hallett said: "Bon Jovi are probably the best live band in the world. This one could run and run." Bon Jovi were the first act to play The 02 when it opened in June 2007 Bon Jovi announced their world tour yesterday (22.10.09) during a concert at the grand opening of The New Meadowlands Stadium, in New Jersey - where they will play on May 26 and 27 - in front of over 5,000 fans.

Bon Jovi is a hard rock band from Sayreville, New Jersey. Fronted by lead singer Jon Bon Jovi, the group originally achieved large-scale success in the 1980s. Other members include guitarist Richie Sambora, keyboardist David Bryan, bassist Alec John Such, and drummer Tico Torres. Other than the departure of Alec John Such in 1994 the lineup has remained the same for the past 23 years.
