Girls Aloud Reunion 'in the making'

Cheryl Cole has promised fans their plans will be revealed shortly...according to recent interviews with Radio 1 and Capital Radio 

Girls Aloud fans will be delighted to hear that an announcement concerning their forthcoming reunion tour will happen "very soon", according to Cheryl Cole. Cheryl told Radio 1 "watch out" for news on their comeback - confident confirmation will happen in the near future.

When asked by Capital FM when GA Fans can expect to learn of their reunion plans, Cheryl revealed it would be "very soon", while also confirming they have met up and discussed how to celebrate their tenth anniversary this November.

Cheryl explained: "We had lots of conversations and we drank lots of cups of tea and we all said we want to do something for our tenth birthday,"

Nicola Roberts has dropped a few massive hints about an upcoming Girls Aloud reunion, suggesting that it's "definitely something to look forward to."

Hits have included  'Sound Of The Underground' through 'Biology' and 'Call The Shots' Girls Aloud are not your traditional Girl Band - With each single release they appealed to a wider audience.

Girls Aloud even appear in the Guinness Book of Records for the girl group with the most ever consecutive top ten singles, they have had the Arctic Monkeys cover one of their songs (‘Love Machine'). Not to mention the critical plaudits from the likes of NME and Franz Ferdinand. They are trailblazers who have consistently raised the bar and changed what it means to be a girlband in the 21st century. Experimenting with disparate genres has, most recently, lead to the likes of Coldplay's Chris Martin and Metronomy's Joseph Mount publicly stating they want to work with the girls.

Five albums in and Girls Aloud did it again.  Their most recent album 'Out Of Control' contained some of most exciting and intoxicating songs of their career while continuing to take pop music into places it’s never been before.  Including the Brit-award winning #1 single ‘The Promise’, the album further cemented the band as the foremost British pop act of the noughties.

The redhead ignored the fact that neither she or Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh and Sarah Harding have seen Nadine Coyle for months - possibly even years - and grinned widely as she talked about the potential reunion on telly this morning.

Nicola told Lorraine that this year is the 10th anniversary of the band and a great chance to get back together. She said: "I can't believe it's been 10 years since Girls Aloud started. A big celebration with the band is definitely something to look forward to.

"We always constantly say that the fans have stood by us and supported us while we worked on solo projects and it's time for us to give something back.
