Born This Way Foundation (BTWF)
Los Angeles, CA  - Lady Gaga and her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, announced today that they will officially launch the Born This Way Foundation (BTWF) on Wed, Feb 29th 2012 at Harvard University’s Sanders Theatre. Lady Gaga will be joined by some very special guests as she personally unveils BTWF before a crowd of policy makers, non-profit organisations, foundation leaders and youth of today, who are working to create a kinder and braver world. The one-day event will be co-hosted by BTWF, the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard, the Harvard Graduate School of Education, the John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and The California Endowment.

LADY GAGA 'PLANNING 450-DATE TOUR
Lady Gaga is reportedly working on a massive 450-date, two year tour. Lady Gaga is said to want to beat U2's record for the highest grossing and most attended tour in history. A source told The Sun, "Lady Gaga is planning to kick things off in Asia and India next year and go on a gruelling world tour. "As is always the case with Gaga, the plans came to her in her sleep. She has a target of 450 dates. It has never been done before, but she's doesn't think that's a reason not to try."

Live Nation has postponed two Lady Gaga shows in Paris this weekend because of the strikes and protests in France over the plan to raise the retirement age.

The Oct. 22 and Oct. 23 shows at Paris Bercy have been postponed until Dec. 19 and Dec. 20 "as a result of the logistical difficulties due to the strikes in France," said a Live Nation statement on Lady Gaga's website. "Unfortunately, as there is no certainty that the trucks can make it to the Bercy for this weekend's shows, the Lady Gaga performances are now postponed," said the statement. Lady Gaga has announced that she will be touring the UK next year. The Poker Face star is bringing her Monster Ball Tour to British shores as she plays the country's biggest arenas, including Manchester MEN, London's O2, Glasgow's SECC and Birmingham LG Arena next February and March.

The tour, to promote her repackaged two-disc album The Fame Monster, kicks off at Manchester MEN Arena on February 18, and ends at Nottingham Arena on March 8 2010.

Lady Gaga North American tour, "The Monster Ball." kicks off on November 27 in Montreal, and finnishes January 21, 2010 in Gaga's hometown, New York City. Kid Cudi will be the supporting act for the entire tour.

Says Lady Gaga, "The Haus of Gaga had been designing 'The Monster Ball' for premiere in 2010 at the O2 Arena in London, but due to diligent work and preparation, 'The Monster Ball' will begin on November 27 in Montreal. 'The Monster Ball' is a multimedia artistic experience in the style of the first-ever 'pop electro opera.'"

Lady Gaga will release a re-package of her breakthrough album, The Fame, called The Fame Monster, earlier that week, on November 23. The re-package will include eight brand new songs, including the club-banging first single "Bad Romance." Continues Lady Gaga, "A message to all my little monsters: The Fame Monster will come out four days before the first live show. You have exactly 96 hours to learn all of the lyrics so you can sing along. Dress accordingly."
