New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys have responded to the overwhelming demand from their fans by offering more opportunities to see them together on one stage for their historic NKOTBSB tour.  The groups announce 16 new shows for a total of 41 confirmed dates for the highly anticipated 2011 boybandbananza!

NKOTBSB first shocked and then delighted fans when they took the stage together with The Backstreet Boys to perform a medley of songs at their NKOTB Radio City Music Hall show.  The two groups then went on to wow the audiences once again when they appeared in their first joint televised performance at the American Music Awards in November 2010.  The audience was on their feet and going crazy as they performed hit after hit including Backstreet’s “I Want It That Way” and NKOTB’s “Hangin’ Tough,”  culminating in tumultuous ovations from the crowds. With over 200 million albums sold between both bands, and smash hit after smash hit, these two pop sensations have dominated the music scene for over three decades.  Their decision to join together to create the ultimate ‘BoybandBonanza’ will give concert goers and diehard fans everywhere the ultimate ‘great night’ experience.

THE BACKSTREET BOYS
The Boys rose to fame with their debut international album, Backstreet Boys  in 1996. In the following year, they released their second international album, Backstreet's Back in 1997and their debut album in the United States which continued the group's success worldwide. They rose to superstardom with their album Millennium  in1999 and its follow-up album, Black & Blue in 2000. After a three-year hiatus, the band regrouped and have since released three albums: Never Gone (2005), Unbreakable (2007) and This Is Us (2009).
The Backstreet Boys have sold over 130 million records worldwide, making them one of the biggest selling artists of all time. According to Billboard, they are the first group since Sade to have their first seven albums reach the top 10 on the Billboard 200.
