Katy Perry’s success has led her to become one of the most talked-about new artists of the past two years. Since exploding onto the scene in 2008 she has sold out her own 50-city world headlining tour plus hosted and performed – twice - at the MTV European Music Awards where she also won Best New Act in 2008. As well as several Grammy nominations Katy won a Brit Award in 2009 for Best International Female.
After Katy Perry's incandescent performance of her newest single "Firework" on X-Factor, audiences should be primed for a spectacular Spring Tour. Despite her previous singles, 'California Gurls' and 'Teenage Dream' being released in June and August respectively, they still sit in the Top 10 of the UK Radio Airplay chart. All three singles come from her new album 'Teenage Dream' which has already sold nearly 2 million globally. Whilst more than 10 million singles, tracks and videos have been sold worldwide.
