Las Vegas Rockers The Killers have previewed their fourth album and debued several new tracks at one of their comeback shows.
Brandon Flowers and friends played an intimate gig in New York road testing upcoming new album Battle Born tracks including new single Runaways and Flesh and Bone and Miss Atomic Bomb.

The Killers have unveiled their brand new single, 'Runaways'. The Killers track received its first official play on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 (July 10) and you can now listen to online which is a real treat! from the Las Vegas band.Speaking to Zane Lowe, Killers frontman Brandon Flowers admitted that he checks online to see what the reaction to his songs is like. Of 'Runaways', which had leaked earlier in the day, he said: "I'm guilty of checking, seeing what the scoop is. I want people to like it, so I'm kind of curious as to what the reaction is."
He added that he was confident that the song would go down well with fans, saying: "I've always felt good about this song. It's exciting to think that we're gonna be playing again – we want people to hear this new stuff."
The Killers will make their UK live return at V Festival in August, headlining alongside The Stone Roses.

The Killers have announced that their new studio album 'Battle Born' will be released on September 17. The Las Vegas band's fourth Album will be preceded by a single titled 'Runaways'. Hopefully this will lead to a Killers Tour Dates 2013 - fingers crossed!
A series of producers have worked on their new album, including Madonna collaborator Stuart Price, Steve Lillywhite, Damian Taylor and Brendan O'Brien. This will be The Killers first album for over four years.
Songs confirmed to appear on The Killers album include 'Heart Of A Girl', 'Flesh And Bone' and 'Carry Me Home', with the tracklisting set to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
Frontman and singer Brandon Flowers is reported to explain the title of the album, which is also the name of the band's studio and a nickname for their home state of Nevada, saying: "In a sense, all Americans are battle born. Our ancestors came here for something better." Drummer Ronnie Vanucci added: "It's living up to its title. This is our difficult fourth record."

The Killers alluded to the news a few days ago in a Twitter post, telling followers to check their website for "big updates." A spokesperson for The Killers confirmed the news, but revealed no other details beyond the album's name and existence. No release date has been set.
In January and February, The Killers called off multiple dates in Australia and Asia due to the death of Flowers' mother. At that time, the band also announced that they were taking a break from touring, while assuring their fans that the future of the band was not in jeopardy. "Day & Age," The Killers' last album released in November of 2008, peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on Billboard's Alternative Albums chart.
