FOOD and DRINK
British Summer Time  tastes even better this year!

In 2017 BST are bringing you an even greater range of taste-bud teasing artisan traders, producers and restaurateurs.

If you have a food intolerance, several of our food vendors will offer gluten and lactose free meals but these may not be suitable for visitors with allergies.

Due to their handcrafted and artisan nature, some of our food vendors may take longer than others to prepare your meal. If you’re looking for an especially speedy fix, please ask at any information hub for a list of vendors who serve food with a shorter preparation time.

BST Hyde Park has a large number of food and bar outlets but festival goers all seem to get hungry and thirsty at the same time! The busiest time to buy food or drink is just prior to the headliner going on stage and the quietest time is whilst they are on stage

Please note that on concert days no food or drink is permitted to be brought into the event, with the exception of water in unopened plastic containers of up to 500ml. On non-concert days, the same applies for any areas of the site which are ticketed or access-controlled
(note that outside of these areas no glass or cans are permitted in the site at any time).

EVENT FACILITIES and SERVICES

ATMs
There are cashpoints available at the north east of the site. They do not accept any credit cards and may not accept foreign cards. Please note that there will be a charge for each withdrawal.

Free Drinking Water
There is free water available throughout the event. Locations are signposted and are also shown on the event maps.

Funfair
Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park offers funfair rides, attractions and games, which operate on a pay-as-you go basis and must be used in accordance with the operator’s instructions including in respect of health and safety. Use of any such funfair rides, attractions and games is entirely at your own risk.

Information Hubs
Customer Service Information Hubs are located throughout the site and run by uniformed members of the Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park team. The hubs will post up details of current stage times and are the places to ask questions and leave feedback – positive and negative!

Left Luggage / Cloakroom
Cloakroom facilities are limited to holders of Barclaycard VIP Summer Garden tickets only.  There are no left luggage facilities elsewhere at the event, so bring only what you can carry and please leave valuables at home.  Train stations in London where items can be stored for a fee are listed here.

Medication Storage
Please bring any medication that you would normally take and tell your friends about any allergies that you have. Medication can be safely stored and refrigerated at the event First Aid point at the North of the site if required. Please remember that all medication must be self-administered.

Merchandise
There will be official merchandise vendors throughout the event site selling a range of event and artist merchandise. All official merchandise is certified ethically sourced. Please do not buy from illegal street traders selling counterfeit goods outside of the event.

Nappy Changing Facilities
Nappy changing facilities are situated in the same location as the accessible toilets. There is one located at each of the event toilet blocks.

Seating and Shade
There are plenty of places to sit down and relax including pub-style garden tables and benches. There are areas with shade in the south of the event (Leafy Grove) and seats with shade in the Barclaycard VIP Summer Garden (which is accessible only to customers who purchase tickets for that area). We can rely on the British weather to be unpredictable so please come prepared with suncream and hats if the weather is good and waterproof coats and shoes if the weather is bad! Check the London weather forecast in advance on the BBC's weather pages.

Strobe lighting
Please note that it is likely that most acts performing on the Great Oak stage will use strobe lighting as part of their performance.

Toilets
BST take great pride in the toilet facilities!  There are a considerable number of wide, cabin styles toilets with hand washing facilities, glass mirrors and the toilets themselves are porcelain with a proper flush.
