Robbie Williams will rejoin Take That on stage next week some 14 years after he quit the band. Robbie will perform with his former bandmates for Children in Need at the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday. Take That and Robbie are expected to top the bill for the one-off gig, which will also features perfomance by Snow Patrol, Lily Allen, Dizzee Rascal, Leona Lewis, Muse and Sir Paul McCartney.

Robbie Williams announced that he wants to rejoin the band. The singer has confirmed that his “head’s in the right place” to work with his four former band mates and that the reunion is “looking more likely by the week”. - last night told a reporter he is only waiting for a formal invitation. “I’m in regular contact with them and it’s looking more likely by the week. The lads all seem up for it. I think it would be fun,” he told The Mirror.

Take That's next single will be 'Up All Night' - to watch the release of the video make its debut appearance on This Morning, ITV1, on Tuesday 27th January between 12-12.30. If you miss the show the video will be available to watch exclusively on MSN.com afterwards. The video was shot in the UK and features Take That playing at a street party. 'Up All Night' is the second single from the band's already six-times platinum album The Circus.

Take That nominated for A BRIT Award
Take That have been shortlisted in the hugely prestigious British Band category at this year's BRIT Awards. The winner of the award, who will be chosen by a panel of judges, will be revealed at the ceremony on 18th February. What's more, Take That will also be giving a very special performance - tune in to ITV1 from 8pm to watch the show live.

Take That have currently seven BRITs to their name. Last year they beat off stiff competition to win the British Single and British Live Act awards: this year sees them up against Coldplay, Elbow, Girls Aloud and Radiohead.

"The Circus" entered at No. 1 on the OCC chart yesterday (Dec. 7).This is Take That's 5th studio album and contains the single "Greatest Day," which gave the band its 11th No. 1, a tally beaten only by the Beatles (17) and Irish boy band Westlife (14). It is the follow-up to 2006 album "Beautiful World" (Polydor/Universal), which is the band's biggest seller to date in the United Kingdom, with sales of 2.5 million according to the OCC.

In a statement, Universal Music U.K. chairman David Joseph called "The Circus" a "coming-of-age record for Take That, an album which deserves to put the country's best-loved band in the history books."

Take That On TV This Weekend! (07 Dec)

Take That Come To Town will be a brilliant celebration featuring tracks from The Circus. Sunday 7th December at 8pm on ITV1 (or TV3 in Ireland).

The band launched the album in style last weekend with a lavish party in Paris. Loads of Take That fans turned up at St. Pancras station to wave them off before they boarded the Eurostar, with more waiting to greet them at the other end. The party was a truly spectacular event, with trapeze artists, stilt-walkers, jugglers and acrobats, followed by a performance of six songs by the band.

Take That's new album "The Circus" (Polydor) has achieved the biggest opening day sale of the year so far, with 133,000 copies sold across the U.K. as at  Dec. 1 recorded by the Official Chart Co. -Universal Music U.K. says "The Circus" has comfortably beaten day one sales of "Beautiful World," which went on to be the second biggest-selling record of 2006 seen on just four weeks' sales.

Take That singer Gary Barlow has announced the title of the band's new album. - Take That the Manchester four-piece have named their fifth record The Circus, which is due out on 1 December. Gary Barlow also said the band are set to hit the road for a Take That UK Tour but the dates are still being finalised. Take That's new single Greatest Day, which is released on 24 November, received its first airplay on the Chris Moyles Breakfast show on Monday.

Take That sold more than 25 million records between 1991-1996 and were described as "the most successful British band since The Beatles in the UK, beloved of young and old alike". Take That's dance-oriented pop tunes and soulful ballads dominated the UK charts in the first half of the 1990s. In July 1995 Robbie Williams rebelled and began to party hard, shortly after announcing his departure from the band. Take That continued as a four piece for a short while before finally splitting up in 1996. 

On November 25, 2005, there was an official press conference by the band announcing that the post Robbie Williams line-up were going to tour in 2006. The tour, entitled "The Ultimate Tour 2006", ran from April to June 2006. On May 9, 2006, Take That came back to the recorded music scene after more than ten years, signed to a music deal with Polydor Records in a deal reportedly worth £3,000,000. After just over a month on sale the band's comeback album "Beautiful World" sold over 1.5 million copies in the U.K. The come-back single "Patience" was released on November 20, 2006, shortly after hitting number 1 in the UK. 

Starting on October 11th, 2007, Take That began their "Beautiful World" tour in Belfast. The tour included 49 shows and ended in Manchester on December 23, 2007.
