The Stone Roses are regarded by many as one of the most influential British bands of all time and an iconic Manchester Band of the of the late 1980s . Rumours are abound The Stone Roses are on the verge of re-forming - According to a number of sources, the band will play two concerts in the band’s home city of Manchester next summer. 

A press annoumcement is been advised could be Tuesday for The Stone Roses to announce the reunion tour! Major music promoter SJM are said to be putting the concerts on.
It will be the first time the original line-up, with singer Ian Brown, guitarist John Squire, bassist Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield and Alan ‘Reni’ Wren, have played together live in 17 years.

The Stone Roses were one of the pioneering bands of the 'Mancheste' scene in the late 80s-early 90s. The Stone Roses split in 1996, lets hope rumours are true for a Stone Roses  reunion tour.
