Arrival by car

The Salzburg Exhibition and Congress Center and the Salzburgarena are located directly at the motorway A1. You can reach us by taking the exit "Messe". Traffic signs in the city and on the motorway will show you the way to the int. Exhibition and Convention Center Salzburg and the Salzburgarena.

Caution: Motorway Tax Sticker ("Vignette") Compulsory in Austria 
You can purchase tax stickers valid for 10 days or 2 months. These are available at petrol stations near the motorway. The tax sticker has to be stuck to the windshield. 

Arrival WITHOUT A TAX STICKER:
Arrival without a vignette via motorway A8 (Germany):

  • Exit No. 115 Bad Reichenhall, direction Freilassing on B 20 
  • From there, follow the signs in direction Salzburg
  • Roundabout: Take the second exit
  • After the motorway-roundabout drive app. 500 m to the "ENI" gas station
  • Turn left in the direction of "Messezentrum" at the traffic lights

Parking 
About 3,000 parking spaces (~ 730 of them in the parking garage) are available for exhibitors and visitors.

Parking fee at events in the Salzburgarena
Salzburgarena visitors, who arrive by car, receive a special rate:

Salzburgarena at all public events (such as concerts, shows, sporting events): € 5,- Daytime events (more than 4 hours duration of the event): € 8, -
Take the opportunity and pay your parking ticket before the event: The personally supervised cash desks are at the left of the main entrance (accessible from the outside) and a further parking cash desk is in the main foyer from the time door opens.

Please note that you can pay at the parking meter only after the event. There you will also receive the special rate.

Arrival by public transport

The int. Exhibition and Convention Center Salzburg is perfectly connected to the public transport network. The trolleybus line 1 stops directly at the exhibition site (station: Messe). On event days the trolleybus also stops directly at the Salzburgarena (station: Salzburgarena).


The trolleybus line 7 stops near the int. Exhibition and Convention Center Salzburg (station: Bessarabierstraße).


The trolleybus line 8 stops at Bessarabierstraße ((station: Bessarabierstraße) and during school holidays and Saturdays right at the int. Exhibition and Convention Center Salzburg (station: Messe) and at the Salzburgarena (station: Salzburgarena).

Arrival by train

Salzburg central railway station is an important traffic intersection in Western Austria and a border station to Germany. Taxis, public transport and rental cars are available for you at the central railway station

Arrival by plane

Since 1926, the Salzburg Airport W. A. Mozart, named after the world-famous composer, has evolved into the second largest airport in Austria. Taxis, public transport and rental cars are available for you at the airport.
