Barrowland Ballroom Glasgow

Throughout history, the Barrowland has evolved from a dance hall into one of Scotland’s most beloved concert venues. The Barrowland Ballroom is distinguished by its exceptional features, notably its superb acoustics, attributed to the barrel-shaped ceiling featuring acoustic tiles. Furthermore, the Barrowland Ballroom retains its original sprung dance floor, greatly enhancing the experience for both artists and audiences.

Barrowland Ballroom was awarded Time Out's best music venue in the UK, as chosen by the artists that have played there. On August 22nd 2024, two new bars, Kitty’s Bar and Victor’s Bar, were inaugurated in the ballroom, honouring Kitty and Victor Cairns, who played significant roles in revitalising the Barrowland Ballroom.
