Bolesworth is a traditional country estate that is thriving under the careful management of the Barbour family since 1856. An entrepreneurial Estate that is forward thinking and an expert in the provision of rural work space.

Bolesworth is an exciting place to come and visit – for an hour, a day or even a week with so much on offer! We have a host of wonderful visitors attractions ranging from fishing lakes to the world’s largest ice cream parlour, which attracts over 750,000 visitors per year! We are surrounded by beautiful countryside, much of which is accessible from a great network of paths and trails including the Sandstone Trail across the top pf the ridge which allows some breath taking views. Our fabulous marina at Tattenahll enables you to explore the Shropshire Union Canal and beyond. Other attractions include an indoor skatepark, candle workshops, mountain boarding, off road driving, an art school and a fabulous cookery school.

Directions to Venue:

Bolesworth Estate is close to major road networks and offers easy access to Chester, Manchester, Liverpool and the South of England via the M56, M53 and M6 and to North Wales on the A55.

Our main estate office is located directly off the A41, approximately 7 miles south of Chester.
Turn off the A41 at Chowley Lodge onto a private drive about 1 mile north of the Broxton roundabout (A41/ A543).

Follow the private drive all the way to Bolesworth Castle, passing a lodge with white gates and past the lake on the left.

Drive up to the rear of the Castle and the Bolesworth Estate Office can be found beneath the stone archway.
