Description
The Express by Holiday Inn Liverpool has been developed within the Britannia Pavillion, Albert Dock - a group of 19th Century Grade one listed warehouses, made entirely from cast iron & red brick. The Albert Dock is now the largest group of Grade One listed buildings in the UK and as such the Express by Holiday Inn Liverpool has retained many of the original features.
Rooms
The majority of the hotel's airy rooms have exposed brick walls and an ergonomic desk for working. You can brew yourself a tea or coffee and relax in front of the flat-screen TV. All rooms have double-glazed windows with beautiful views of Albert Dock or Mersey River.
Dining Options
The Great Room bar and lounge, with views of the dock, is open during the day and late on weekends. You can enjoy a drink or coffee while watching a game on the big TV. The Express Start Breakfast buffet has both hot and continental choices.
Location
The hotel is located just five minutes walk from Liverpool town centre where you will find one of the busiest and friendliest nights out in the country. There is not an onsite car park however there are pay & displays bays opposite the hotel which are in operation 24 hours per day. There is also a NCP car park 10 minutes walk away.
Directions
By Road-From the North - Take the M62 to the end and follow signs to Liverpool City Centre and the Albert Dock, avoiding all tunnels. Once onto the Albert Dock, the hotel is located to the rear of the dock in Britannia Pavillion. By Road-From the South - Take the M53 to the end taking the Wallasey Tunnel (TOLL), follow signs for Liverpool City Centre and the Albert Dock. Once onto the Albert Dock, the hotel is located to the rear of the dock in Britannia Pavillion. By Rail - Lime Street Station is situated in Liverpool City Centre. Opposite the station is a bus terminal, the No.1 bus will bring you straight onto the Albert Dock. It is approximately a 30 minute walk, you can also get a taxi from the station. Liverpool Airport - From the Airport, turn left towards Liverpool City Centre. At the crossroads with the A562 (Parliament Street) drive straight over, taking the A5038, and follow signs for the City Centre and Albert Dock. Once onto the Albert Dock the hotel is located to the rear of the Dock at Britannia Pavillion.
