Directions
Vienna International Airport (VIE): Approximate driving time to The Mercure Wien Zentrum is 25 minutes and distance is 20 kilometres (12.5 miles). Getting there: S-Bahn over-ground trains run at least every 30 minutes connecting the airport to the city centre and U-Bahn. Buses depart from the airport to the City Air Terminal every 20 minutes. Other buses go to Südbahnhof and Westbahnhof railway stations and also to Bratislava and Budapest. Taxis are available outside the arrivals hall and the fare to the hotel is around €34. Getting around: Much of the centre of Vienna can be easily seen on foot. Vienna’s integrated U-bahn, S-bahn, bus and tram system is very efficient and reliable. Taxis are expensive and can be hailed in the street.
