Venue Information
In order to make your arrival as relaxing as possible, the foyer and bars open 90 minutes prior to the commencement of a concert. Food and beverages are also on offer during intermission and following the performances.
Treat yourself and enjoy a variety of dishes freshly prepared by the in-house Chefs. The AIDA Bistro, Bar and Foyer Bar are all available at this venue.
The venue's location also gives you easy access to bars and restaurants outside of the venue, if you prefer to get some air before or after a concert.
Directions
Situated directly on the A5 motorway that runs from Central to Southern Germany, getting to the Festspielhaus venue is made easy with good access to public transport, including trains, buses and planes.
By Car
The venue is in a central location in the city and can be reached easily by car. From the Waldseestraße, head north towards Hochstraße. Turn right onto Lange Str. (signs for Gaggenau/Ebersteinburg/Centrum) and then turn right onto Beim Alten Bahnhof. The venue will be on the right.
On Foot
From the Baden-Baden city centre, the walk to the venue takes 10-15 mintues. Walk north and turn right onto Waldseestraße, then turn right onto Lange Str. (signs for Gaggenau/Ebersteinburg/Centrum). Turn right to stay on Lange Str. and right again onto Beim Alten Bahnhof. The venue will be on the right.
By Bus
From Baden-Baden Station, the 201, 216, 218 or 245 buses take 7 minutes over 2 stops to arrive at Baden-Baden Festspielhaus which is a 1-minute walk from the venue. From this bus station, walk south-east on Lange Str. towards Beim Alten Bahnhof and turn right onto Beim Alten Bahnhof. The bus service runs every 8 minutes.
By Plane
Baden Airport is a 20-30 drive from the venue and can be reached by the B500, K3761. Buses also run from the FKB Airport Terminal.
