Sferisterio di Macerata , Italy

The Sferisterio is the symbol of the city of Macerata and it was opened to the public in 1829, the largest stage in Europe. Since 1967 it has attracted the most demanding music lover to applaud original proposals and prestigious cast, in a monumental but intimate structure, which guarantees perfect visibility and excellent acoustics, combined with unique experiences.

On the train

From North and South: national FS train to Civitanova Marche, continue to Macerata by FS train on the local railway line or Trenitalia bus;

From the west: FS national train to Fabriano (AN), continue to Macerata by FS train on the local railway line or Trenitalia bus.

By plane

Raffaello Sanzio International Airport of Falconara (AN). The airport is connected by a direct train service departing from Castelferretti station and arriving at the Ancona train station. From here continue by car or train.

By car

From North and South – A14 motorway: Exit at Macerata – Civitanova Marche, then follow the Macerata/Tolentino/Foligno sign, take the highway and exit at the Macerata Sud/Corridonia junction, then follow the signs for Macerata Centro.

From the West: SS77 towards Tolentino-Civitanova Marche: Macerata Ovest/Sforzacosta junction exit. Continue along the SP77/Via Nazionale – Strada Provinciale Della Val Di Chienti, following the signs for Macerata and then for Macerata Centro.
