Information
Murrayfield Stadium is situated in the Costorphine district of Edinburgh, some 3 miles (4.5 km) from the city centre. Murrayfield has been the home of Scottish rugby since it first opened in 1925 and it was continually developed over the course of the next sixty years until it reached its present status as the largest and most impressive stadium in Scotland. Murrayfield is an all-seated, all-covered stadium, the product of an ambitious redevelopment programme which took twelve years to complete at a cost of almost £50 million.

By Tram:
Edinburgh Trams runs a fast, frequent service to the entrance of BT Murrayfield Stadium from locations such as Edinburgh Airport, Ingliston Park & Ride, Edinburgh Gateway and Haymarket.
Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding trams using the ticket vending machines at trams stops or on the Transport for Edinburgh App. Edinburgh Trams recommends purchasing return tickets to make your journey simpler. Return tickets are available from tram stop ticket vending machines with options available for both the city fare zone and the airport fare zone. Customers are requested to have their tickets ready for inspection at the gateline, which will be in place at Murrayfield Stadium tram stop.
Ferrytoll Park and Ride

Just north of the Forth Road Bridge in Fife, this site has 1,040 spaces (37 disabled), parking is free and vehicles can be left overnight at no charge.
Opening times: Saturday from 5.00am until 1.00am (Sunday), Sunday from 5.00am until 12.30am hrs (Monday).
If you intend to leave your vehicle overnight, please park in the multi-storey car park and provide details of your vehicle registration to the duty supervisor (in the facilities building). There is no direct bus route between Ferrytoll park and ride and BT Murrayfield Stadium, but there are regular buses into the city centre, with many connecting buses. Islington Park and Ride

Located just off the A8/Edinburgh Airport junction, the site has 1085 spaces (46 disabled) and offers free parking.
The site is served by Edinburgh Trams who offer direct services to the entrance of BT Murrayfield Stadium, the City Centre and Edinburgh Airport. It is also served by Lothian Buses service 35 which operates to Ocean Terminal via the City Centre.
Parking is not permitted between 2.00am – 4.00am.
Hermiston Park and Ride

Near Heriot-Watt University campus, the site has 450 spaces (22 disabled) and parking is free (maximum vehicle height 1.9m/6ft 3in).
Parking is available 24 hours a day, for no more than 3 days at a time.
Lothian Buses service 25 serves Hermiston, and stops at Saughton and Gorgie, less than a ten-minute walk to the south of the stadium. Visit the Lothian Buses website for a full timetable.
Sheriffhall Park and Ride

Near the A7, the site has 561 spaces (15 disabled), is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and parking is free.
Lothian Buses service 33 calls at Sheriffhall and stops on Gorgie Road, less than a ten-minute walk to the south of the stadium. Visit the Lothian Buses website for a full timetable.
Wallyford Park and Ride

Off the A1, the site has 300 spaces (13 disabled), is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and parking is free.
There is no direct bus route between Wallyford park and ride and BT Murrayfield Stadium, but there are regular buses into the city centre, with many connecting buses.
Straiton Park and Ride
Straiton Road, Straiton, EH20 9NW
Just off the Edinburgh City Bypass, the site has 600 spaces (37 disabled) and parking is free. Maximum vehicle height is 1.9m (6ft 3in) and it’s open seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
There is no direct bus route between Straiton park and ride and BT Murrayfield Stadium, but there are regular buses into the city centre, with many connecting buses.
Parking
There is public car parking at BT Murrayfield Stadium, on the pitch area behind the west stand. Spaces are limited and passes must be pre-purchased. Depending on availability, parking passes can be bought from the Ticket Centre at BT Murrayfield or online at www.scottishrugby.org up until the day before the event. Car park passes cannot be bought on the event day.
The BT Murrayfield car park can accommodate vehicles no bigger than the size of a standard car or people carrier. Minibuses, coaches, motorhomes and similar are not permitted entry. In the interests of safety, neither dogs nor barbeques will be allowed in this parking area.
