Fitted with the famous Hypnos beds to provide the most comfortable sleep, the 60 bedroom Hotel in Cardiff features a wide range of different room types to cater for all.

Dining Options 
The Lounge Bar serves a wide selection of drinks and snack foods throughout the day, however, the hotel does not serve dinner. There are a variety of dining options on St Mary Street and in the nearby surrounds, including Portugese, Italian, Thai, Chinese, Mexican, American, Wagamama, Jamie Olivers etc.

Other
Nicknamed "6B", the Royal Hotel's sixth floor rooftop beehive arrived at the Hotel in August 2013 and has become an instant success. Over the course of early 2013 a local bee farm, Nature's Little Helper's has specially bred 10,000 honeybees and provided Hotel staff with equipment and training to look after the hive. In September 2015, a second hive was added to the roof, in light of the success of the first. If you wish to view the hive during a future stay, please speak to Reception when you arrive and if the "Royal" Beekeepers are available they will be only to happy to show you the beehive (staff permitting) - just don't forget your camera.

Location and Directions 
The Royal Hotel Cardiff is located at the junction of St Mary Street, Wood Street and Westgate Street, right in the heart of Cardiff city centre.

Travelling by train or bus, Cardiff Central train station and Cardiff Bus Depot are just a few hundred metres away from the Hotel and take no longer than a few minutes to walk to.

If you are planning on driving into Cardiff, please note that the main entrance on St Mary Street is now completely pedestrianised. There is a loading bay at the rear of the Hotel, at the Westgate Street Entrance. Using the postcode: CF10 1TL will bring you here. There is unfortunately no car park on site.
