Manchester Arena - Elvis 2019
DIRECTIONS TO THE VENUE
Visitors using satnav’s to reach the venue should note that the postcode for the arena is M3 1AR.
By Car – Manchester Arena is located in the city centre, on the corner of Trinity Way, Hunts Bank and Great Ducie Street, and is adjacent to Victoria Station. The easiest way to get to the Manchester Arena by car is to leave the M60 motorway at Junction 17 and follow the A56 directly to the venue.
Parking - The on-site car park is operated by the venue’s official parking partner NCP, and has a capacity of 958 spaces. On show nights, the car park is manned by an events team who work to ensure that parking at the venue is as simple and easy as possible. They conduct regular patrols of the car park and the car park also has the Park Mark award for safety. You can pre-book your parking in advance to guarantee space on the lower floors of the car park and ensure a speedy entry and exit from the car park via the venue’s direct website.
Drop Off/Pick Up - Please arrange to drop off and/or pick up away from the Arena as, due to the city-centre location and size of events, road closures and diversions may be in place at the end of an event making it difficult to return to your chosen meeting point.
By Train - Many national and local trains stop at Manchester Victoria station, right underneath the Arena. If your train arrives at Manchester Piccadilly station, the venue is a short journey away on a Metrolink tram.
By Bus - Many buses serve Cannon Street and Victoria bus stations and many more stop within easy walking distance in the city centre. Manchester's free city centre Metroshuttle service also links Victoria station with other areas of the centre.
By Tram - Trams run from many places in Greater Manchester and are also a handy way to get to the Arena from other places in the city centre. Manchester has a large international airport which provides easy access to the Arena. The airport is approximately ten miles from the venue and can be reached by train or bus as detailed above. Your journey can be planned via the Metrolink website.
Manchester Arena has and always will continue to review security measures in conjunction with Greater Manchester security and emergency services. Further enhanced security checks have been put in place to provide reassurance and confidence and we advise you to arrive in plenty of time to pass through these additional security checks.
We also ask to please support and cooperate fully so the team can efficiently carry out these measures to ensure safety and ensure you are in the building in time for your show.
We ask that you keep personal belongings to a minimum and only bring your essentials. Please do not bring any backpacks or large bags, as these will not be allowed into the arena.
You are permitted to bring small bags or handbags no larger than 35cm x 40cm x 19cm.
There will be no temporary storage facilities for such items within the venue and it will be left to the patron to find a safe temporary facility to hold the item. The venue will not be responsible for late admission or non-admission as a result of this policy.
For a list of items not allowed into the arena, please see the Official Venue Information.
Please note that Upper Tier seats are very steep and are not advised for the elderly, infirm or those with an aversion to heights. If any of these apply, please do not purchase seats in the Upper Tier as relocation on the night is not possible.
