The Motel One Munich-Olympia Gate is designed to embody the 1972 Olympic Games with a flickering Pulpo lamp representing the Olympic flame. Gold medals and photographs of famous athletes will take you right back to the games as you soak up the Olympic spirit in our design hotel.

Location
The Schwabing district is the purest incarnation of the typical Munich joie de vivre. The Motel One Munich-Olympia Gate is a stone’s throw away from the sights of this iconic area. Its art venues and characteristic pubs are within walking distance of the hotel entrance. Just a little further afield, you will find BMW Welt and its neighbouring Olympiapark, the venue of the 1972 Summer Olympics, as well as the newly-designed memorial site for the Munich massacre of the Israeli Olympic team in 1972.
