Vaudoise Aréna

Vaudoise aréna

The Vaudoise Aréna is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Prilly, a western suburb of Lausanne in Switzerland. Opened in September 2019, it was built on the site of the former, now demolished, CIG de Malley which it replaced to host the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics.

The smallest of Switzerland’s four main cities is easily accessible: by road (A1/E25 and A9/E27 motorways), by rail (CFF network, EC Direct and TGV from Paris and Milan), by air (60 km from Geneva International Airport, in 45 minutes by car or by train) and even by water, thanks to the boats operated by the Compagnie Générale de Navigation on Lake Geneva.

Lausanne is thus close to numerous popular tourist destinations, including Montreux and the Château de Chillon, Zermatt and the Matterhorn, the Jungfrau, Lucerne, the historic city of Gruyères, the Glacier des Diablerets and the Vaudois Alps, and the large French resort of Chamonix.

The Vaudoise aréna's main restaurant, the Spot Café, serves fresh products all year round, seven days a week. During games and events, the arena's refreshment bars and a range of food trucks on the forecourt round off the varied options for eating and drinking.
