Hala Vodova

Venue Information

Sportovní hala Vodova is an indoor sporting arena located in Brno, Czech Republic. The capacity of the arena is 3,000 spectators and hosted some matches from the 2010 FIBA World Championship for Women. It hosts indoor sporting events such as basketball, volleyball, and boxing as well as concerts and other large events.

Directions

By Car: The car journey from Brno City Centre takes under 20 minutes.

Head south-east on Veselá which turns slightly right and becomes Dominikánské nám. Turn right onto Dominikánská and right again onto Šilingrovo nám.

Turn right after 450m onto Husova and continue onto Komenského nám. Turn left onto Veveří and right onto Šumavská. Then turn left onto Pod kaštany, and at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Dobrovského. Turn left onto Purkyňova.

Turn right onto Červinkova after 180m and then left onto Vodova. The venue is at the end of this road.

By Public Transport:

From Brno, hl. nádraží Station, the no. 12 train to Červinkova takes 18 minutes over 11 stops. The train runs every 5 mintues. From Červinkova Station, the walk to the venue takes 5 minutes. Walk south on Purkyňova towards Červinkova and turn left onto Červinkova. Turn left on Vodova and the venue is at the end of that road.

From Hlavní nádraží Station, the no. 1 train to Semilasso takes 15 minutes over 10 stops. The train runs every 5 minutes. From Semilasso Station, the venue is under a 15-minute walk away. Walk north-west on Palackého tř. towards Kosmova and turn left onto B. Němcové. Turn left to stay on B. Němcové and turn right to get to the venue.
